What does vacationsTXT.com do?

At VacationsTXT.com we allow you to shop for Lake of the Ozarks vacation rentals then put you directly in touch with the owner however you would like, be that text (that's right, you can use your phone), instant Message, Telephone, or eMail. You decide how you want to be contacted and we make the connection.

How do I look for vacation rentals ?

To browse our rentals please fulfill the search form in the upper left hand corner - the available rentals from that search will appear as both pins on the map and a listing in the lower left hand corner. If you'd like more details about the listings just clicking on the pin or individual listing will enable you to see more specific property information. The listings will even show you if the owner or manager is available for Instant Message Chat, if they are - go ahead and ask whatever you'd like!

Ok, let's say I found a rental I like, what then?

Once you have found a rental you like just click on "My Trip" and the property will be added to your "My Trip". You'll notice in the bottom right hand corner a page labeled "My Trip". Your rental will display right there along with communication options. Your rental may also appear with a bid function, allowing you to "make a deal" with the owner.... auction style. The communication options available to you will be to eMail or call, if you select call our system will connect you and the owner via your phone.

How do I find other services available at the Lake?

To browse our service directory you will see some polaroids on the right hand side of the page. Each of those photos represents a category of activities you might enjoy on your trip, clicking on these will allow you to see where they are in relation to your selected rental and just as the rentals you will be able to click on them for additional information.

How do I keep information about the services I might want to use?

When you find places of interest just click on the "My Trip" and they will be added to "My Trip" along with your rental, placing both your rental and your planned activities all in one place. When you are done, just click "Text to Me" and the contents of your trip will be sent directly to your phone along with each address and phone number!
